Fear of change

This morning I went to the bakery at 7.30am, came home with a lovely warm loaf of bread, cut off a hunk, slathered it with butter and devoured it with a cup of tea. Bliss. Nothing too unusual about that except while I was out I saw only one other person, apart from the lady serving in the bakery. The only vehicle I saw was the bin lorry.
